Hat Yai, Thailand

Hat Yai. This is my first visit to Thailand. Was supposed to visit Thailand in year 2019 but there is Covid! Anyhow. I succeed to continue my planning even though with different people from my first planning.



This is a holiday with elderly 👵👴 so I spent 5 days in Hat Yai eating & sightseeing. 😂

And our activities from day 1 to 5 be like ;D. 

It is not 100% in orderly since i have to make changes based on situation.

05/08 Saturday

- [x] Khlong Hae floating market 1 PM - 9 PM (Fri-Sun), closed Mondays to Thursdays.

06/08 Sunday

- [x] Wat hat yai nai - largest reclining Buddha statues

- [x] Hat Yai Municipal park - unfortunately cable car is under maintenance. but you still come to see the statue

- [x] Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol

- [x] Masjid Sahe Pakistan

- [x] Seaverse cafe & restaurant - open daily 8.30am-8.00pm

07/08 Monday

- [x] Songkhla Old town 

- [x] samila beach - Golden Mermaid statue

08/08 Tuesday - Free and easy. Shopping

- [x] Kim Yong market - Amazon Cafe nearby!

- [x] Greenway market,  Closed on Monday, open 4-10pm.

- [x] ASEAN Night Bazaar, head up to the food court on the 2nd floor for halal good galore. not all halal! 3PM - 10.30PM (Fri, Sat, Sun, Tues, Wed), 5PM - 10.30PM (Thurs), closed on Mondays. 

09/08 Wednesday

- [x] Check-out. Flight at 12noon

  • Khai Tod Decha - classic Thai dish & fried chicken. Open daily; 10.30AM - 9.30PM
  • Khaled restaurant
  • Hamid restaurant - Thai food, desserts, fusion dishes. 10AM - 10PM (Mon-Fri), 7AM - 10PM (Sat-Sun) 
  • Lee Garden Night market 
  • Greenway Food Station - Open daily 4-9 pm
  • Khlong Hae Buffet Halal Hat Yai, Open daily, 3PM-10.30PM

🏨 : Anton Hotel Hatyai - 17/3 Paradorn Road, Hat Yai Downtown, 90110 Hat Yai, Thailand.

Recommended hotel! But they don't have lift. Not suitable for elderly.
